Given that the head of FEMA is now saying Katrina is the worst natural disaster in U.S. history, it's nice that President Bush this afternoon decided to "cut his vacation short."

I have read all your blog feeds on Katrina and I have not read a peep about how your heart is breaking for these people. what I have read is a)you love the nifty weather Katrina blew your way b)its an opportunity to do some PC braying about racism and president Bush and I am sure whatever other little liberal sound bites you can find. c)the only shred of compassion I have seen you, the bleeding heart caring liberal show is for a bunch of expensive animals. the energy of which to maintain and evacuate them would be much better spent on real live human beings. there no doubt will be a shortage of consumable food down there and horses in some cultures being considered mighty fine eating...the wisest stewardship might be to slaughter them for food for the homeless of the gulf coast. they can get new horses later. unless of course they are valuable show animals and the rich and idle want to protect their investments.
