I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don't want to do that.

Why, 'in all places, Mississippi.'?
Why do people still have this provincial idea that everything in MS is like it was 40 years ago? MS has more black elected officials than ANY OTHER STATE. Look at the big swath of blue counties from the last election returns from the MS Delta. Yes, there are Democrats there.
Just like the lady said in the article: "Dean's speech revitalized scores of Mississippi Democrats who are sick of being ignored by the national party. "We're also written off in the media; they either skip over us or stereotype us," says Dorothy Triplett, secretary of the Mississippi Democratic Club, a group of progressive Mississippians. '"
Because Mississippi is, despite all its Black elected officials, an overwhelmingly Republican state in the middle of the most Republican region of the country. It's bold to start the "50 state strategy" there, I think.
Dean's a bold guy. I'm a fan.
