I'm not a dad (or even a mom) but I am raising my niece... My advise is: Be clear about wants versus needs. After looking at all the accumulated "stuff" years later, I SO wish I had that money back for her college fund. Save, save, save, save....
I agree with Dewi on Jon's blog. A backpack! Nothing else comes to mind. What a special time!
A daddy backpack. I sure with they'd had those when you were born, Kate. Love, Mama
And for the younger baby, a sling that a Daddy finds comfortable.
