wedding registries

After being asked at least 624 times where we are registered for the wedding, I have capitulated. Jon and I are now registered at TARGET and HOME DEPOT.

(But isn't it wrong to give/get gifts for second weddings?)

I don't think giving or getting presents can EVER be wrong! It's expecting to get them and advertising what you want that is tacky. People are happy for you and they want to celebrate that.

it's never wrong. People want you to be happy, and giving gifts is a way to express that.

When the Tick and I married, I already had most everything we needed to run a household, so we asked everyone to buy Lowes/Home Depot gift certificates. Comes in handy when you live in an old house.

It's not wrong, like Leslie said, people just want to celebrate. You have the option of registering for a charity, too, though, sort of spread the wealth.

I looked through the Target registry, and all I can say is,

What in the name of Liza Minelli is a leaf ball?

Is the turtle involved in the creation of the leaf ball?
