Check out this interview with 13 year old Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain (who was in my elementary school class in Montesano, Washington, by the way). She sounds like a really bright, friendly, modest kid with a good head on her shoulders. And who would have guessed she'd be a big Mariah Carey fan? Obviously, despite all her problems, Courtney's doing something right.

I dunno.. Seems like oftentimes kids tend to turn out to be the opposite of their parents.. Not sure we can always blame/credit parents for how their kids turn out..or their peers..or anything, really. Sometimes it's just wacky how kids can survive pretty screwed up parents.
