I HATE COLD WEATHER.
I hate everything about it, except snow, and it never snows where I live, so the cold weather has zero redeeming qualities.
Okay, it is nice to have a fire in the fireplace, but other than that, I just hate it.
It's, like 15 degrees outside right now. It's miserable. I need some sunshine and flowers and birds chirping.
Jon loves the cold weather for reasons that are unclear to me, so I guess we will not be moving to Florida at some point, as I would prefer.
Now I need to put on my coat and go out to my frozen car and freeze myself over to my office.

I cannot imagine growing up without snow! Snow really does redeem the cold(although it can be a pain in the butt too!)Hmmm....it's fun for kids to see their breath in the cold, and it can be very cozy to curl up under a blanket with a warm drink and a good book during cold weather!
I live in a hot climate area, and I hate it! I love the cold. Heat is to me what kryptonite is to Superman. The cold makes me feel alive and energized.
I also used to dream about living in a warm climate, and then I hit a peri-menopausal age. Now the cold weather is one of my pleasures, to be freezing cold when I walk outside is delightful.
Snow is only fun if you're playing in it otherwise NOT fun when you go to work or need to walk in the city.
I love and miss cold weather. Nothing better than a lung-full of crisp, clean, cold air. Heat and humidity is stifling. I hibernate in the A/C all summer (which lasts about 9 months of the year here in southern Florida!)
I have hated snow all my life. Even as a child, I wanted no part of toboggan rides, snowman-building, or anything else. And I hate the cold just as much. I agree with you--no redeeming qualities. I have tried to like (or better endure) winter and snow, and it just isn't happening. I also loathe the shorter days; I love going out after dinner to play with the kids on spring and summer days.
I hope you talk Jon into Florida before the state is under water. :-) We almost moved to Clearwater a few years ago and I still feel the pull to be there. The heat can be relentless and perhaps I would get sick of that too, but it's definitely a better match for this winter-hater.
