so you are a medical professional now eh? I was induced both times, the first medically and the second time thru stimulating accupressure points. the first was psychologically neccessary because I had been at risk for preterm labor and then the baby was late and it was just wigging all of us out. sorry to bust your bubble but sometimes that just happens. the second time, yes my sons cord was wrapped around his neck unknown to us and I have always truly beleived that he would have died if I had not induced myself and wound up having my water break and get to the hosptial early. you are clueless. the idiotic opinions you give in here (such as your advice about teens sexuality) bely just how little common sense appears to be rattling around in your brain. you maybe very "smart" school wise and have very intellectual tastes but the nuts and bolts of day to day "smarts" seem to be an extremely low priority to you. I can only imagine your book about "overparenting"...I would imagine your idea of "overparenting" is encouraging teens to abstain from sex instead of giving them condoms and a copy of the joy of sex so they can become "adults".
your omnipresent fan Dewi belied her true colors in her nasty comment about men. considering she married her sperm donor (as she must think of him with such a vile comment about men in general) she is about as clueless as you are. I cannot imagine that anyone with a functional brain could possibly take your statements as good counsel after even a quick skim through your blog

As one anonymous to another, I would venture to say you have a host of rage bottled up inside of you. Have you considered counseling?

rage? oh please. just because someone disagrees with someone and is appalled at the level of stupidity they are "full of rage" and "need counseling"??? I would suggest Katie needs counseling to get a clue but I doubt she would be receptive

anon - you're not really even disagreeing. you're just yelling. Katie never said inducing is always bad, she just said it should be avoided when possible.

unbelievable.

Anonymous #1: It's called "anger management." They offer classes to help you with it. Sign up for the next session before your head explodes.

I'd like to ask this mean-spirited Anon something: If you dislike the Blogger, and/or the majority of topics discussed upset you, why bother stopping here at all?

Surely there is plenty of other stuff to see and do online, right?
