OK, well, at least she was holding him, unlike just about every other mom in America that has their baby in a bucket 24/7.

But...it is so sad, the poor baby is circed, bottle fed & badly parented. Poor sweet little guy.

Someone needs to send her a really racy Mei Tei.

I came across a piece a few minutes ago that claims Britney gives her son ice-cream before bed because it "helps him sleep better."

K-Fed? Get over there and help your wife already! She's pregnant in tall shoes and long jeans.

Brit could use a home visit from a parenting educator, but it looks like she could also use a hand from her babydaddy. Why is she always alone with the baby?

i dunno ... the carseat stuff bothers me more. but as a bona-fide breastfeeding, co-sleeping, cloth diapering, sling-wearing, stay-at-home, healthy-food eating, bake-my-own-bread, yadda yadda yadda (i.e. i have all the "credentials") mama, this so easily could have happened to me. i just wouldn't have been in the public eye for someone to catch it on film.

i don't follow brittany at all, except on katie's blog ... and i'm sure she could use some support and advice, as most new moms can. but compared to so many many kids out there, this one is going to be just fine, and despite everything we think we know about brittany (and again, i don't claim to know much at all), i'll bet she's a just fine mom. who could use a bit of a break from the snark.

but who am i to judge????

Let me say straight up: I have dropped my own baby before. It happens.

I agree with mama Marta, new parents make tons of mistakes, unlike Brittney none of us are under intense scrutiny from the international press. At least she occasionally takes care of her own child unlike most celebrities.

Now I feel guilty ;-)

Seriously, don't mean to pick on Brit too much.

Have I mentioned the time I accidentally let my toddler get a mouth full of scrubbing bubbles? Or the time 4 year old Jane ate a poisonous mushroom from our yard?

Katie, Not Perfect Mama

I'm not a perfect mom either, but I think the culprit was the jeans. And she made the decision to wear those silly things. Have I stumbled with my baby before? Sure. But I wouldn't consciously quadruple my risk of doing it.

I also would hate to raise my baby in the public eye. But she made that decision too, a long time ago.
