"formula 4 success"

Prepare to gag.

These baby onesies from Target feature a baby bottle and the slogan "Formula 4 Success"

How about "Formula 4 Violating the WHO CODE"

I'm gagging....how terrible, when breastfeeding has been shown to be much better for babies than formula, and yet society looks down on it, to be reinforcing formula! But then, I'm not surprised that Target would carry such things. We just saw an article that says that Target is just as bad as Walmart. I'm not overly surprised with that, either, though I had hoped they were a bit better since they do community service projects. Still, I've shopped there as little as possible...and I think it's been about a year since I set foot in one.

I think you are taking this way too seriously, really it's just a cutie shirt. But it shouldn't surprise me as judgemental as you are. Except when it comes to your own choices...

How about "Future underachiever," "Future asthmatic," or "I don't need no stinkin' antibodies."

Should catch on well with the formula set, no?

I agree about breastfeeding, I breast fed both my sons, my 2nd one longer than my first, but when I had to go back to work, formula was my saving grace, I unfortunately couldn't pump enough to keep up with the demands of my little ones. I think getting all cranky about a cute T from Target, isn't worth the effort. Where it counts is what you do for your child, you are their guidance, not what Target mass produces, they aren't trying to favor formula over breast milk....what do you expect them to do, put a huge tit on a t-shirt and sell that? Not cool....I'd rather see formula for success.....
Hmm...I wonder....in the scheme of things, and how busy our lives are, and the values I want to teach my kids, am I going to reflect back on a dumb t-shirt from Target? Probably not...maybe their first Bible, or 1st day at school or their 1st smile.

ah but what you do not realize is that Katie is absolutely clueless about stuff that matters but she is fixated on this tit thing.

waaaay too much time on your hands girl. perhaps some of the time you are spending finding out about merchandise to complain about might better be spent cleaning your house or learning to cook. something useful. I think I will go shop at target just to spite you. maybe I will even buy a few of those onesies as gifts for the expectant mothers I know. along with a bottle dryer and bottle brush and other nice bottlefeeding accessories.

Yep, that's me alright. So much time on my hands ...;-)

I am rather fixated on the "tit thing" though. That's certainly true.
