I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don't want to do that.

EEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKK.... I HATE snakes!!!!
Um, you do realize what you're going to have to feed that thing, don't you?
Dear lord yes. I know all too well that Bob will have to eat. Elliot has been begging for MONTHS for a snake. He did lots of research and has convinced me that Bob (captive bred) can eat pre-killed, frozen mice bought at pet store that I will never have to deal with. He made the case that these dead mice :-( are no different than the dog food made of cows and such that we feed the dogs.
I am not 100% on board with the whole snake thing, but Elliot is over the moon. I have to admit that Bob is not as gross as I feared. He's rather fascinating to watch.
And he only has to eat 2-3 times a month.
C. would love a snake... absolutely love it. I'm not ready for that yet.
I love snakes. I want one myself. its my husband that is freaked. it really is sort of cool to watch them eat. the trouble happens when people get huge burmese pythons that eat live rabbits. you have to feed them with a pole and you need to have someone with you when you feed them because they can get so excited by the smell of food that they kill you. these huge things really belong only in zoos.
with the smaller snakes its a LOT easier than say lizards and geckos who also eat live food but theirs is crickets and its daily and unless you have a reliable source you have to breed your own crickets. GIGANTIC pain in the behind.....
