back from bonnaroo

And what a good time I had!

Read all about it and see all the photos RIGHT HERE.

Next year, if I go, I want to have a family/friend RV compound. I missed Jon and the children and would like them to come, too.

Looks like it was a fun weekend. Is this something pre-teens could go to with parents? Moreover, would parents feel GOOD about taking them?

Yes, you could absolutely take kids. You would certainly want to choose your camping spot carefully and keep a good eye on things, but it's basically a four day County Fair centered around music and fun. With a little supervision, kids would never even see anyone doing anything they shouldn't be doing. I saw many families there together.

I think it would be difficult to take younger children because it gets so hot and that would be very hard on a baby-through-early elementary-age child.

My husband said he thought it might be fun for kids, ages 12 and 16, but I am a little uneasy about the drug and alcohol use.So you are saying that there are camping areas that are more family friendly than others?

Your pictures, and other pictures, don't portray a "county fair."

It doesn't look like a place that I would take a child.

Can they not be innocent of some of this for a while yet?

I'd rather take my kids to Bonnaroo than your average county fair. Those places are really scary...

yeah. I wouldnt take my kids to something like this with the drug and alcohol stuff. not the younger ones anyway. perhaps an older teen because eventually they are going to be around people doing this stuff anyway but an elementary, young middle school age kid. no way.
