I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don't want to do that.

Ridiculous. That's an insult to birth parents. I mean, you may think adoptive parents would be great because they obviously want kids. They wouldn't have gone through the trouble to adopt if they didn't. But adoptive parents could just as easily be bad parents. Birth parents could just as easily be great parents. Just because you take the time and money to adopt a child doesn't mean that you're ready to invest the time and love that a child is going to need. It can go either way.

i've given birth to 4 and have adopted 1 of my 5 children.
frankly what sticks in my craw is the whole adoptive, birth, real, natural labels.
puhleeeze!!!!
I am naturally mom to 5 children and they are naturally my children end of story.
doing what i do for a living, i do agree with cheri. good and bad parents abound regardless of how they became parents.
It kills me that the very first piece of supporting "evidence" is:
The study found that adoptive parents spend more money on their kids...
Right, because we all know that people who spend more money on their kids are clearly better parents. Argh.
What makes her think that you're going to care about some bastard kid more than your own?
>some bastard kid
Um, fuck you?
