suri cruise

Let me go on the record as saying I actually sort of like the name "Suri." It's unusual and pretty, but not ridiculous (as in "Apple Martin").

I lean toward traditional names (my daughter is named "Jane," after all), but Suri is nice.

Is anyone complaining about the name? I thought it was Tom Cruise's actions that people were thinking was freakish.

The name's not the problem. The parents are.

I agree, though..."Apple" is a pretty silly name. Her future classmates are going to have a field day with that.

I heard in some report during all the hoopla that Suri is, indeed, an old fashioned name - popular around the turn of the century.

According to the Superficial - which I'm sure would never lie - Cruise goofed, and Suri actually means "go away."
