I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don't want to do that.

Wow! The bright side is that the second person isn't playing the game anymore ... for now. But Females beware. My vote would have to go to the first person. I wouls bet that if he were to ever put his sexual history down, it would be equally disturbing.
Well, the first guy looks terrifying, probably mentall ill or screwed up on drugs or both, and any amount of prior family trauma he's sustained would probably explain a lot.
But I still wouldn't want to meet him in a dark parking garage.
He just seems to have less volition and be more physically dangerous than screwed-up #2. Besides, if you're going to sleep with someone you don't know that well, well, it's generally not a safe idea anyhow.
I thought the second one read like a short story. Full of grandiosity and contempt, sure, but with all the little clues of his own horrible life and dashed potential (in Kathryn). Harpers all the way. Reading it I wondered how many of those women were raped. But I also thought that his own patheticness and emptiness was surely excrutiating; I guess that gave me as the reader the satisfaction for my contempt for him.
