wedding dresses

While Jon and I aren't having formal attendants at our wedding, I wanted to get all the children I love involved. Here are some of the dresses I am considering for all the little girls who will be gathering around us as we say our vows (Jane, cousins, close friends' daughters). It's not easy to find a dress that's comfy, cute, affordable and will come in sizes 2-10.

Which one do you like best?

I like #1 and #6 best.
#1 is a classic: it will fit all ages pretty well, looks comfy and "wedding"-ish.
#6 is definitely very cute, looks comfy, not very "wedding"-ish but great for all ages.

I guess it depends on the sort of ceremony you want: simple, classy, no frills yet sophisticated, go for #1; cute, cosmopolitan yet "homely", go for #6

Good luck. I am sure all the girls involved will look fine!
What about the boys?

The white eyelet dress is gorgeous.

It is difficullt to say since I'm not sure what your dress looks like.

As a general impression, I agree with Marta about the white eyelet and the brightly colored, "peasant" style dress. The brightly colored dress is very now and could easily be worn again to school or other events. I think its my overall favorite for its cheer and versatility.

I am not sure what your dress looks like and is this going to be an outside event?
I really like #3 and #1...you have two #1's. I like the one that has more white in it and red and green. Its really cute. #3 is more traditional.

#1 or #3 - I like #1 the best of the two.

I like number three but that's more formal--I'm not sure if that is the look you are going for. Also, if you are wearing white you may want your little maids to be more colorful, in which case I vote the purple one.

I love the white eyelet - but have a suggestion: why don't you let the parents and children find their own dresses, as long as they are white? Offer suggestions and your budget (if you are paying) but leave it up to the girls to find something flattering that they like. For the boys, how about white shirts and navy blue shorts? You could get them all matching boutonnieres in your accent color, perhaps.

I like #1 the best as well. Classy and cute at the same time. The psuedo hippie peasant dress is darling also.

I like the first one best. It's pretty and classic and not fussy. I HATE fussy and/or frilly. But that's just me.

Number 1 Number 1!!! Perfectly simple and beautiful. Your daughter will look beautiful in this dress and the younger kids would too. How much fun are you having!!! :)
