For my money, the V-Roys were the best Knoxville band, ever.
And now you can take a trip down memory lane and watch a V-Roys performance from '99 online, courtesy of former Knoxvillian and online musical archivist Kevin Crothers.
I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don't want to do that.

I agree. Best Knox band ever. Superdrag is HIGHLY over rated. Why did the VRoys break up anyway?
Better than the V-Roys:
Superdrag
Senryu
Tim Lee Band
Scott Miller solo
Todd Steed
Superdrag was not highly overrated. They were very, very, very good. When they were "on" they were one of the best bands anywhere.
With that being said, the Viceroys/V-Roys were my favorite band of the 90's. Local or otherwise.
And anon#2...Senryu? I saw them the other night and ummmm...nope..no way..no how. The others you can put as equal to the V-Roys.
V Roys were one of my favorites. Superdrag is also up there, and I agree with bknox on Senyru- I've seen 'em and they're just not doing it for me like those previously mentioned. That "let's all have sex with our friends" song is super annoying. The battery song on new rock 90 is Okay, but nothing I'd request.
