less breastmilk = more alcohol?

Here's an interesting new study that LINKS LACK OF BREASTFEEDING with a predisposition to alcoholism later in life

I have not read the original research, but I think the hypothesis is somewhat far-reaching. I think alcoholism is much more complicated then not breastfeeding or breastfeeding duration. I give greater weight to other known contributing factors to having a predisposition to alcoholism. There is exhaustive research looking at “Why” a mother does not breastfeed, I think that is important in understanding a link to alcoholism. There is recent research that examines maternal personality type, socioeconomic, education and family support these are very important indicators in understanding the overall life of women who chooses not to breastfeed. I am just guessing here but the reason a women chooses not to breastfeed are factors that would contribute greater to the underlying predisposition of family alcoholism.
